Guest DJ: EMHO

So EMHO, if you have a break at work, you mind commenting about some music you've been listening to lately?
EMHO: "Ha! Break from work! Now that is comedy.I've been extremely bored with my music selection lately. I need to get a few albums off of Miguelito's computers. Looking forward to listening to Of Montreal, the Field. I'm currently listening to Fujiya & Miyagi, the new Arcade Fire & Asobi Seksu."

Ha! Break from work! Now that is comedy.

I've been extremely bored with my music selection lately. I need to get a few albums off of Miguelito's computers. Looking forward to listening to Of Montreal, the Field.

I'm currently listening to Fujiya & Miyagi, the new Arcade Fire & Asobi Seksu.

Thank you te la ma!

I only listened to the Arcade Fire's new one once, and got the feeling that it was good, but not different enough from Funeral that I would actually ever pick it over Funeral... But should I give it more of a chance?

What do you think of Modest Mouse's new album? I love the song "Dashboard", but haven't listened to the rest of the album emough yet to secure an opinion.

The new Modest Mouse bores me so far, but I've been known to change my mind. I'm going to throw it on now and see what I think.

The Field's "From Here We GHo Sublime" is easily the best music of the year so far. Saw Arcade Fire Tuesday night- there live show has become trancendant - really indescribable. Bowie meets Boss meets never been done before. Also saw Sunset Rubdown with about 50 people Monday night - dare I say incredible live show. Going to see our local boys made good, Deerhunter, tonight - I highly recommend you check out their new EP - Flourescent Grey. Other recent good listens: The Moths, Marnie Stern, LCD Soundsystem, The Album Leaf, and especially. The Twilight Sad. get off your arses, you PDX hipsters!!
