Sports: Who Is Considered an NBA Superstar?

I have a high standard for a superstar. Instead of merely an all-star, you need to be one of the best at your position. You should usually (1 or 2 off-seasons here is OK) be in the play-offs even if you have bad teammates. You don't have to have title, that takes more than 1 great player. Here's who I think deserve the title-

Kidd, Iverson, Ron Artest, Jermaine O'Neal, Shaq, Dirk, McGrady, Duncan, KG, Ray Allen, Baron Davis, Kobe, Nash, Amare, Lebron, Wade

Baron Davis is the shakiest because of his incessant injury problems. But when he's healthy he's almost always taken his teams to the play-offs and at the end of last season he got the Warriors playing well. Lebron hasn't been to the play-offs yet and has some defensive issues, but it would be silly to leave him off since we all know what is going to happen w/ his career. I don't want to hear anything about McGrady. He took bad Orlando teams to the play-offs over and over again. He finally broke down and then they had the worst record in the NBA.

Some borderlines for me were Yao, Stojakivic, Arenas, Bibby, Ben Wallace, and Carter. All had something small to not be convincing. Yao and Stojakivic too unagressive, Carter too inconsistent, Bibby and Wallace not quite good enough to take a bad team on their shoulders to the play-offs, and Gilbert? Next year, if he plays like last season again.
